What I like about chrome is the speed and how organized the platform is. I was able to sync it in the blink of an eye. Much to my surprise, I had no idea that chrome had apps available. I immediately found Yabla, which is a Spanish program for which I had paid out of pocket for a few years, and it was free. After exploring the web store, I found myself wanting to play and discover more. I ended up saving Yabla and Simplebooklet to my favorites. I did have to create an account but it only took seconds. It is easy to use and it can be used to share an array of information including videos. It seems to be a great tool to share information with students or to have students publish their work.
Like you, I didn't know Chrome had a web store either. I spent some time looking at different apps, but definitely want to spend some more time looking for French apps I can incorporate into my classes. I think Google Chrome and Google Docs could be it's own class...there is so much to learn and discover. Thanks for sharing the video on Simplebooklet.
ReplyDeleteGreat find. I hope you share Yabla with the other Spanish teachers. Everyone should be experiencing Chrome!
